2006-2007 Training Days!
T
his is our newest feature! :)

I will try to take pictures on a regular basis so you can keep up with your favorite club member or dog.  The pictures will be in a collogue for easier viewing and an overview of that day - So mouse over the picture you want to see and then click on it to get the BIG picture.  Some of these will also be on the club members page so check there too.  We hope you enjoy the days we have together as much as we do.

Hi all, I am working on the pictures from Sept thru Dec 2007 be patient :) I am going to save some time grouping the Sept sessions. Here are a few teasers! We have some great friends, Charles and Sunny and our traveling vet Dr. Dena McGowan from Houston, and they brought along the some of the other club members (Kim, Dave, Jim) to come and train

bullet

We have our friends Teri and Kathy from the Dallas area who make the very long drive on Sundays for a little extra help.

bullet

We also have our wonderful and great friends Rob and Jessy in the Lone Star club.  We try to train together every Sunday so we get the benefit of each clubs helper, training and just plain ole good fund.  I added some pictures of the SCR's and Lone Star's (Rob and Jessy's club) newest / youngest helper, Drake Freeman, he was here watching and playing with the puppies - looks like he might be doing a bit of helper work now with the little one and a little sweetness with the older one. And of course - the guys, Danny, Rob and Charles work with Paul our new helper in the club on a regular basis and he is getting very very good at the work - not to mention his dog Panzer is also coming along pretty fine.  Then there is also the Danny group with BB :) they all are pulling for him to continue training the crazy boy and each one helps in different ideas and just overall support.

Not to mention we also had a little BBQ and chilled a bit.

9-2-07  Ok - I have been bad (very very bad - by looking at the last time I updated this thing - hopefully I dated the pictures:0 and I'll get some up)
I need to catch up - I'll start working on the club training pics again and you won't believe it.  Some of the dogs have grown up and "matured"  not to mention the helper training that goes on, oh and the BBQ's at the field - more to come. I'll put them in order so you can see the progression.

.

bullet8-12-07 - That is the date the pictures show - looks like we had a full day, and a visitor, Alivn's granddaughter Erin came to watch training.  Of course we were working on helperwork but we also had some other really good training.

bullet8-19-07 - Thank goodness this camera keeps track of the days for me - since I am so late in getting this up - at least I can figure out when we took the pictures.

bullet5-6-07 - Sunday.  I can't remember specifics but Alex came up from Corpus Christi and was working with Danny and Paul on some helper techniques along with getting his pup worked.  Also I started working Lil :) and she was doing pretty well - not that I like to have me on here, but I like to see her.  Also we have a few shots of Paul and Panzer working on some obedience.

bullet1-27-07 - Sunday - Wow, we got a special this week.  Both my cameras had dead batteries, and so did everyone else!  So we pulled out the video camera and here ya go! ENJOY - but as the day was, the video camera also ran out of battery! We are recharging now!  But we got some fun videos of Sunny and Laica and Terri and Jet - more to come.

and now for our CAMERA MAN - Paul and Panzer

bullet1-14-07 - Sunday - The Helper Seminar in Dallas that Danny was supposed to due along with our other Regional Teaching helpers, was cancelled due to bad weather in the Dallas area, so we just headed back to Austin on Friday night. Our friend Dena had come from the other side of  Houston, to help out with the seminar - but since the seminar was cancelled  Dena (our resident/traveling vet) came on down South to Austin on Saturday.  We made chili got a good nights sleep and off to training we went. It was wet and cold - but we got some good work in.

I got it - lets get moving, it's cold.

Here I come :)

bulletSunday (11-25-06) We are back from Mathis and Nationals - everyone is ready to get back to training.  We had a full house this week, Alex from Coastal Bend club came down along with Charles and Sunny from Greater Houston.  We always enjoy the company.  Also - check out Richards new pants, a very nice gentleman donated these to us and the are perfect - now Rich won't have to wear that little apron/dress :)

I went back to my little camera - but I'll still be working with the new one since it takes pretty cool action pictures and my little one I get lots of tails and butts :) I don't post those just to keep everyone happy!

bulletSunday (11-5-06) It was a hazy day and I used my new camera.  While some of the shots came out ok, some had missing feet, heads etc... so we have thin pickins today.  Not to mention I think I need to clean up the new camera's lens - looks a little fuzzy.  Still it was a good time with friends.  We want to Wish our Friends in Lone Star lots of luck at Nationals.

bulletThis Sunday (10-29-06) we went to Donna and Dave Bovee's home - we had some great Chili and sausages thanks to our hosts.  Of course I didn't get the camera out for obedience - I promise I'll do better next week.  But here are some pics from the day we enjoyed with the Lone Star club.

bulletSunday (10-22-06) we cooked out and had Fajita's for lunch.  Drake was awesome by pretty much taking over the grill!  And all the food was Perfect! Good Job Drake :)  Also I want to tell you my brother (who lives in CA was in town) and he thinks it is cook what we do but is not into SchH was in town and came on out to the field for the day.  The wife and kids went shopping but it all works out - and that is him Joel in the first picture in the Maroon jacket.
