Welcome!

• Austin Schutzhund Club is a member of The United Schutzhund Clubs of America and we are part of the South Central Region.  Our sport Schutzhund (SchH) or Vielseitigkeits Pruefungfuer Gebrauchshunde (VPG) is used to ensure our working breeds maintain the integrity of their heritage.

• We formed Hill Country Working Dogs in 1983, retired from that club and formed a training group for a little while then became a full member USA club in 1993 with Austin SchH Club.   Our core group has trained together for more than 20 years and is made up of members from both clubs.

• We have had many good times and we certainly expect to have many many more.  We enjoy working and spending time with each other both on and off the field.
